It's Maskin' Time! ("Vanilla Sky")
Note sull'episodio
At least for another week, VANILLA SKY probably holds the title of “Strangest Movie in which Tom Cruise has Starred.” We’re onto you, DIGGER!
The world’s most famous scientologist plays David, a magazine publisher whose life seems ridiculously difficult; I mean, he has a sexy actress (Cameron Diaz) fawning over him and he can’t shed her from his life! Don’t feel too bad for David, though, cause soon he’ll fuck over his best friend Brian (Jason Lee) and hook up with his budding companion, Sofia, portrayed by Penelope Cruz just as the character is in ABRE LOS OJOS, the 1997 Spanish movie from which VANILLA is adapted. Wait, none of that sounds too weird? Don’t worry, the masks come out soon enough.
Director Cameron Crowe has had quite an eventful life, and we dive into that and his filmography in this week’s bonus feature before closing on the weekly question, “Does this movie matter?”
Open your eyes!!!
