The Reason You’re Alive

When relationships are hard, we’d rather move on and do life without them.  Sometimes we just want to close our door, get some peace and quiet, and have some time to ourselves. But is that best? What do we do when relationships are getting in the way of our happiness? Today, we’ll look at one passage of the Bible that will challenge how we view our relationships and just might change the way you live your life.

Resolving Conflict - Having The Conversation

When we experience conflict with others, we tend to respond by avoiding it, or blowing up in anger. Neither response is healthy. Jesus has called us to pursue peace with everyone, and that means having hard conversations when conflict arises. When do you know if the conflict needs to be addressed? And how do you have the conversation you’d rather avoid? That’s what we’ll explore in this message as we look at God’s Word.

Resolving Conflict - The First Step

The deeper our relationships, the more conflict we experience. Loving marriages turn into messy divorces. Close friendships end in ugly betrayals. Dream jobs become workplace nightmares. Family bonds turn into painful wounds. How do our relationships go so wrong? How did it get so bad? In this message, we’ll look at the first step to bring healing to our broken relationships.

Why Aren’t You Listening?

We live in a world where everyone loves to share their opinion but no one is listening. Whether it is on social media, in the office, or in your home, we talk at people instead of with people. We want to be heard, but we don’t want to hear. We share our hearts, but don’t understand theirs. When we fail to listen, our relationships suffer. In this message, we’ll look to Jesus' example and learn why we’ve stopped listening and how to listen well.

The Most Important Rule For Every Relationship

Relationships are the source of our greatest joys and also our greatest pains. Unfortunately, those we love the most often cause us the greatest hurt. Relationships are hard. So, how do we navigate the tensions and challenges we face? How do we heal what has been broken? Jesus gave His followers one relationship rule above all others. Healthy relationships must start here. That’s what we’ll explore in this message.

From Failure To Restoration - Peter

There are moments in our life we all regret. There are choices we’ve made that have tarnished our relationships and rattled our faith. What was once a strong faith in God has now become distant. Whether you grew up in church or have never been religious, is there any hope for us in our failures? Can we ever be restored?

From Despair To Recognition - Disciples on the Road to Emmaus

Most of us have heard or read the Bible and are familiar with the story of Jesus. But what if everything we have heard or believed about Jesus is wrong? What if your faith in Jesus is falling apart? What if instead of faith, you find yourself in despair? That’s what we’ll explore as we look at Jesus’ first disciples in the days after His death.

Turning From Jesus - Judas

We are currently experiencing the largest religious shift in American history as more than 40 million people have stopped attending church. Many people who once called themselves followers of Jesus have turned away. But this is not new. In this message, we’ll look at the story of Jesus' friend Judas, who not only turned away from Jesus, but betrayed Him. What happened to Judas, and what will keep us from turning away?

The Disciple Jesus Loved - John

Everyone loves a front-row seat—especially when it comes to witnessing something life-changing. This Sunday, we’ll step into the life of John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, and explore his unique, intimate relationship with Christ. From his unwavering closeness to Jesus, to his faithfulness at the cross, to being the first disciple to believe in the resurrection, John’s story challenges us to live with confidence in Jesus’ love. Join us as we discover what it truly means to be the disciple whom Jesus loves!

Doubting What You Don’t See - Thomas

Christianity rises and falls on the truth of the resurrection. If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, Christianity is false. But how can a reasonable, sane, human being actually believe someone rose from the dead? Dead people don’t come back to life, right? How are we to believe that Jesus really rose from the dead, unless He reveals Himself to us? That’s what we’ll explore as we look at the resurrection through the eyes of Thomas.
