Running From God

What do you do when you know what you should do, but can’t bring yourself to do it? What if God has made His plan clear to you, but you don’t like it? In week 1 of this series, Nineveh, we’ll look at the story of one man who ran from God’s plan. In looking at his story, we’ll discover what God may be up to, even when we are not onboard.

Seeing God In Our Pain

The longer you live, the more pain you experience. If life is so painful, then what is the point? Why would God allow so much pain in our lives? Does God have any purpose behind our suffering or is it all meaningless? As we wrap up this 5 week series on suffering, we’ll dive into Jesus' teaching from John 9. As we look at His teachings, we’ll discover God’s purpose in our pain.

What Did I Do To Deserve This?

Why am I suffering? Is it a consequence for the choices I have made? Is God mad at me? Am I suffering more than others because I am worse than them? Jesus was asked these very questions by His disciples. In this message, we’ll open up the Bible to discover His answer, and what it means for us in our suffering.

Facing the Consequences

Have you ever been told, “You made your bed, now you have to sleep in it?” Actions have consequences. That is good news when we make good choices, but bad news when we don’t. Much of the suffering we experience in life is the result of our own poor decisions. So, if we’ve dug ourselves into a bad situation, how do we respond? What do you do when you’ve brought suffering on yourself? Is there any hope of a better future?

When Doing Right Goes Wrong

Many of us turn our lives over to God in hopes for a more peaceful life. But what do you do, when your good choices lead to a more difficult life? How long do you put up with a corrupt boss or a difficult spouse? How do you keep doing the right thing when it keeps getting harder? In this message, we’ll look at what Scripture teaches about how to respond when doing right goes wrong.

Before the Storm Hits

Suffering is inevitable. It is not if; it is when. If you live long enough, the suffering you see around you will soon come to your door. In this sermon we’ll look at Jesus' final lesson from His sermon on the mount. Jesus reveals what separates those who grow stronger through suffering from those who are destroyed by it. Suffering is coming, will you be ready?

When Enough is Enough

We live in a culture of constant comparison, but God calls us to something better: to want the right things, the right way, and to find our deepest satisfaction in Him. In this final message of Written in Stone, we’ll explore what it really means to overcome coveting, delight in God, and trust His promises while we wait.

Theft-Proof Living

Stealing isn’t always about robbing banks—it can show up in our words, our workplace, our relationships, and even in the small compromises we think don’t matter. In this message from our Written in Stone series, we’ll discover how a lack of contentment, trust, and faithfulness can lead to theft in big and small ways. Learn how to quit stealing, work with integrity, and live generously—reflecting the heart of the One who gave everything for us.

God calls us to honor our parents

Honoring your parents isn’t just a command for kids. This is a command for all of us, no matter our age. In this message, we’ll learn that honoring our parents means that we love them by obeying them and showing them respect and gratitude, even when it’s hard.

Unfaithful people but a faithful God

When it comes to the topic of sex and marriage, we are often deceived by what culture says rather than what God says. In one of the 10 commandments, God reminds us of the value of faithfulness to our spouse and him. Do not commit adultery is often viewed as just a physical command, but it's way deeper than that. It impacts not just our marriages, but our walk with God.
