Khaled Allibhai is the Chef and Restauratuer behind Fable, a new restaurant bound to shake up the food scene in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to starting Fable, Khaled was the Executive Chef at Cultiva Farm Kenya, a renowned farm-to-table eatery based in the city. After studying at the International Hotel School in Cape Town, he returned back to Kenya with the goal of elevating the local food scene, starting at institutional names like Radisson Blu and moving on to start his own personal project, BaoBar during the COVID-19 pandemic, which went on to gain national recognition. His changing menus highlight his commitment to environmental sustainability, and his food brings together elements from his childhood, mentors and travels, creating flavor and ingredient-driven food designed to ignite a sense of curiosity in all his guests.
