Today’s reading takes us to Psalm 36, where David shows us two realities: the sinful man and the saved man. The sinful heart listens to rebellion, flatters itself, speaks deceit, and eventually plots what it once would have feared. Sin does not begin with the hands; it begins when rebellion is given authority in the heart.
