Today’s reading takes us to Psalm 78, a historical psalm that calls God’s people to remember and tell. It looks back over Israel’s past so the next generation will not forget the works of the Lord, but will set their hope in Him. The past is not just history—it is a warning, a witness, and a safeguard for the future.
Psalm 78 reminds us to tell what God has done, remember His faithfulness, beware of a drifting heart, and trust the Shepherd He provides. Idolatry and forgetfulness always lead to devastating consequences, but God remains faithful even when His people fail. So today, read Psalm 78 and do something simple and powerful: remember what God has done, then tell the next generation.
