Today’s reading takes us to Genesis 7, where the flood comes and Noah’s family is brought safely into the ark. God gives the warning, God provides the ark, God calls Noah in, and God shuts the door. Noah’s obedience shows us what faith looks like when the world mocks, the timing feels strange, and the only thing to stand on is the Word of the Lord.
