ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಮಹಾ ಕಷ್ಟನಿಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇವಿುನ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಾನು ಈ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಅತ್ತೆನು; ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಶೋಕಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉಪವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪರಲೋಕ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
