Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) Review, Ranking, and Discussion - Star Wars Marathon
This week we have the privilege of closing out the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy by watching, reviewing, and ranking Revenge of the Sith as a part of our Star Wars movie marathon. In this movie it has been three years since the Clone Wars began. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) rescue Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) from General Grievous, the commander of the droid armies, but Grievous escapes. Suspicions are raised within the Jedi Council concerning Chancellor Palpatine, with whom Anakin has formed a bond. Asked to spy on the chancellor, and full of bitterness toward the Jedi Council, Anakin embraces the Dark Side. #starwars #darthvader #skywalker Time Codes 00:00 - Intro 06:55 - The Opening crawl 10:30 - Initial Thoughts/ Reactions this time 23:45 - Movie Talk 1:11:50 - Lightsaber Duels Ranked 1:29:14 - Favorite Character 1:38:50 - Favorite Scene 1:48:50 - Box office/ budget 1:49:25 - Academy Awards 1:50:45 - Critic scores 1:52:50 - Our Scores out of 10 2:08:25 - OUR Ranking/Where is Falls 2:12:35 - Next Week is Clone Wars: The Movie Check us out on Letterboxd Ben's Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/5nFMd Ethan's Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/4QIVr Micah's Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/1bjyt Intro and Outro theme is from @Auralnauts Andor synthwave and "The Book of Boba Fett" (synthwave cover) Follow us on Instagram https://instagram.com/multiversemonologues?utm_medium=copy_link Logo done by the fabulous @chameleo.angel on instagram.
