October 11th, 2016. Zambia, South Africa. Dr. Larry Rudolf and his wife Bianca began packing up their belongings for their return flight to the United States later that day. The couple had just finished a hunting trip where Bianca had hoped to kill a leopard. Unfortunately Bianca did not get to shoot her leopard. No trophy to behead and mount on the wall as a momento. But there would be a killing before the evening was over. Was the death a terrible accident? Was it a suicide like some claimed? Or was there more to this story? A woman's body, a hospital worker named Teresita Basa, is found stabbed and burned inside her apartment. The case goes cold. But six months later, a doctor claims that the spirit of the murdered woman possessed his wife on several occasions, seeking justice and naming her killer. Did the ghost of Teresita Basa possess her co-worker’s body in order to attain retribution for her murder? MurderCast 012: Charles Morgan
Charles Morgan June, 1977. Somewhere in a remote area of Tucson, AZ. A brand new Mercury Cougar slowly drives down State Route 86. It is almost pitch dark and the driver turns on the dome light to check the hand-written directions. He tunes the CB radio to channel 19, waiting for communication. Pulling off the highway in the San Juan Springs area, he stops the car. This is the place. In the trunk of the car, a cache of ammunition. On the back seat, one of his own teeth wrapped in a handkerchief. In a briefcase on the seat beside him, thousands of dollars in large bills. He zips up his bulletproof vest and scans the darkness around him, thick with the summer’s humidity. Inside the holster strapped to his side, is a .357 Magnum. He makes sure the gun is loaded, places it back in the holster and exits the car. These were the last moments of Chuck Morgan’s life. You are listening to Murdercast.

Colonel Philip Shue April 16, 2003. Bernie, TX. A maroon car speeding along interstate 10 suddenly begins to drive erratically, spinning out of control, finally coming to a stop after hitting a tree. The victim, 54 year-old Airforce Colonel & Psychiatrist Philip Michael Shue is dead. He had left two-and-a-half hours earlier for work, but never arrived. His death and the subsequent investigation would raise more questions than answers. Upon examination, Colonel Shue appears to have been bound and tortured. Duct tape is found on his wrists and ankles, both of his nipples have been cut off and the tip of his left pinky is missing. What happened to cause the fatal crash? Victoria Cilliers Wiltshire, England. Easter Sunday, 2015. A holiday observed by Christians, celebrating the resurrection of Christ, three days after his death on the cross. Victoria Cilliers, a 42-year-old army Physio-therapist and mother of two, waits for the signal to jump. Victoria is given the thumbs up. She can’t help but smile, feeling the excitement of the adrenaline rush to come. Victoria leans out into the rushing wind, staring down at the seemingly endless fields and farmland 4,000 feet below her. Letting go of the plane’s wing brace, she lets herself fall, plummeting towards the ground at over 100 miles an hour.
