Episode 101: Nighttime Paranoia

For those that like to watch, we have something for you. What lurks in the forest across the pond and goes bump in the night? Perhaps it is Nothing, maybe you hear a round of applause, or are suffering from a terrifying disease. Join us as we dive into night watchers with It Comes at Night, The Night House, and (spoilers ahead) the Watchers.

Episode 100: Triple Digits

It is a joint celebration this week as we officially pass into the triple digits in episode count, and we also join our black friends in celebrating Juneteenth. We go back to a classic Blaxploitation cult classic with Blacula, and keep it modern with a true Junteenth tale in The Blackening.

Episode 99: You were Home

It is 3 am, you hear a knock at the door, do you answer it? Maybe it is just a woman looking for her friend, or maybe she has two other people waiting to terrorize you. Or perhaps a sociopath is just playing with his prey before a kill.

Episode 98: Are You Weird?

What is in that fog rolling across the bay? Why is an old man telling young kids stories by the fire? Did everyone in town have too much to drink? Can Ice Cube make Mars cool? Just how weird is Tom Atkins? Tonight we are diving into more horror works from the legendary John Carpenter.

Episode 97: We Still Don’t Drink… Wine Again.

This week we are revisiting one of our favorite classic movie monsters - the vampire. The vampire has had a multitude of adaptations and reimagining, but these films aren’t breaking new ground there. These films are asking the questions of why don’t vampires just do this? Here are some interesting tales that ask those hollow questions.

Episode 96: Suburban Decay

This week we are rolling around in some radioactive dust and seeing what mutations we get. Whether they be real or fiction, radioactive disasters can change the landscape of not only the physical landscape, but also the psyche, bringing humans closer to our reptile brains. Join us as we explore the wasteland.

Episode 95: The Devil is in the Details

We are back for what we are praying to be our last dive into the Omen Franchise. The back half of the franchise is rough to say the least, and we can only hope that the apostles use the 7 daggers on us instead - in the cross formation, because physical death is not enough.

Episode 94: Born Again Evil

While we are taking this week break from the Omen, we just couldn’t help ourselves to a round of other evil born children. Whether you are part of the Satanic Cult, the mother of a clone, or your child is Lucifer, what is a parent to do? So join us as we eat chalky chocolate mousse, learn Italian and play a rousing game of dodgeball

Episode 93: Looks That Kill

Just what do the victims of the antichrist see when Damian gives them the evil eye? The world may never know. This week we are covering the first three films in the Omen Franchise. The later films seem to have forgotten to finish the script, but we are here to try and put together the apocrypha and decode exactly what these quasi-religious movies are trying to say.

Episode 92: All My Friends are Make Believe

You wouldn’t know my girlfriend, she goes to a different school in Canada, and has no cell phone. One might think that imaginary friends are all fun and games, but what happens when the stuffed bear stalks you. Or when you witness a death and an entity latches onto you, well we find out with the sometimes predictable world of the unseen with these movies. And Remember… We watch bad movies so you don’t have to.
