🎤 FROM WILD NIGHTZ TO THE RED CARPET!
On this episode of the #MostHatedPodcast, we sit down with Trey Goettling, the man you’ve probably seen working the red carpet and catching interviews at events throughout Kansas City.
But Trey’s story DID NOT start on the red carpet. 😂
It started in Idaho with his podcast “Wild Nightz” Trey admits the original plan was pretty simple: start a podcast, bring on BEAUTIFUL WOMEN and have a good time. 😂 Models, dancers, strippers and more started coming through — and yeah, Trey admits sometimes the podcast worked a little TOO well. 👀😂
But somewhere along the way, he realized something bigger was happening.
Behind all the fun, he was actually getting REAL STORIES, REAL CONVERSATIONS & GREAT CONTENT.
Trey eventually brought Wild Nights to Missouri and continued building the platform, but everything started changing when a promoter reached out and gave him an opportunity to conduct interviews at an event.
The first attempt?
IT DIDN’T GO EXACTLY AS PLANNED. 😭
Instead of giving up on him, the promoter believed in Trey enough to invest in him AGAIN — and that second opportunity helped push Trey toward becoming the Red Carpet Interviewer people know today.
Now Trey is getting invited to concerts, shows, red carpets and major events, interviewing entertainers, artists, singers, creators and personalities while continuing to build Wild Nightz at the same time.
And Trey doesn’t hide the ugly beginning either.
🎥 No tripod. 🎤 Bad microphones. 💡 Terrible lighting. 💰 Limited equipment.
He breaks down how he upgraded piece by piece and quickly learned that creating professional content can get EXPENSIVE — cameras, cameramen, audio engineers, studio time, lighting, equipment and everything else behind the scenes.
Trey also talks about living in multiple cities and states before eventually landing in Kansas City. He speaks on his time in Atlanta and how the city made him fall even deeper in love with hip-hop culture — the music, fashion, clubs, nightlife, food, energy and overall lifestyle.
But today?
KANSAS CITY IS HOME. 🌆🔥
Trey talks about wanting to help put KC on the map, finding the best nightlife and vibes in the city, growing his red-carpet platform and taking Wild Nightz to another level.
He also drops some FREE GAME for upcoming podcasters, streamers, interviewers and content creators about starting with what you have, investing in yourself and understanding that your first videos probably AREN’T going to look perfect.
Sometimes you start with bad audio and terrible lighting… and end up on the RED CARPET. 🎤🏆
