In this episode of Mission SONlight CHATT, Abraham Ramos tells us how 40 days in immigration detention changed his life, restored his faith, and led him to a new calling in ministry.

Abraham shares his testimony of growing up in Ecuador, moving to the United States, drifting away from God, and finding his way back through an unexpected and difficult season. After immigration officers gave him the choice to return to Ecuador or remain in detention while seeking asylum, Abraham chose to stay. He spent 40 days with limited distractions, reading the Bible, praying for hours, and sharing Scripture with another detainee named Miguel. On the 39th day, Abraham was released. The next day, he reunited with his wife and shared his testimony at church.
