The Tarkenton Years Vol 1: Superbowl VIII
Superbowl IV, The First of Many Heartbreaks
di JP McGillicuddy
This ep starts with an apology from JPM to the Bud Grant estate. Mike shares a story about coming face to face with a Steeler wide receiver who at one point in time doused cold water on his superbowl dreams. The boys review the charts and JP shows Mike what a Pink Floyd show at the Vikings crib would sound like. Finally, Superbowl 8 and all the heartbreak that went with it are discussed. Oh and Mike doxes JPM, twice!
JP and Mike introduce the theme of the podcast, and Mike details his first Minnesota sports heartbreak: MN vs KC Superbowl IV.
On this episode JP and Mike welcome Randy to the program to review all the misery the Vikings have provided over the last 56 years.
