How do you win when the odds are stacked against you? Is coping keeping you stuck and keeping you from conquering and winning? Trusting God is never easy. What God asks of us usually doesn’t make any sense. But because we can’t see how it will work out it requires us to trust God all the more. If you knew how it will turn out then you wouldn’t need to trust God. God wants to call us to a place of deep and utter trust in Him and Him alone. Is it okay to question God? Is questioning God a sin? Is it something we should stay away from? God knows everything but many times when God asks questions it isn’t for His knowledge but for our perspective. In the same way when Gideon asks God questions it shows where Gideon is. He asks from the heart and lays out all of his doubts to God. And through the questions God is able to come close and give Gideon a new perspective and understanding which in turn stabilizes Gideon so he can carry out the purpose God has for him.
