We are in trouble if we ever lose our awareness that all of the commands, instructions and practical counsel of Scripture is given to us in the context of being ready for the return of Jesus. When God tells us how to live, it is not an abstract set of rules given to a mindless group of robots. The Scriptures are God's love letter which, in part, prepare His children to be reunited with Him in such a way that we are absent of sorrow, regret or loss. The father wants us ready to meet His Son face to face. Christians must live with a constant awareness that this moment is the next grand event on God's prophetic calendar.

Yes, Jesus is returning to planet earth. And we must get prepared.
