Monique DeLeon is the head student curator at the Cabrillo High School Aquarium, an aquarium staffed entirely by 200 high school student volunteers. She manages the gift shop of the aquarium, & she manages all of the accompanying social media accounts, as well as managing the aquarium! In today’s episode, we discuss the Cabrillo High School Aquarium, the work required to keep up with an aquarium full of creatures, the new tropical fish gallery for the aquarium, passion for science, & the urge to share that passion with the world.
