Note sull'episodio

In May nineteen thirty-nine, Basil Brown cut into the largest burial mound at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk. Iron rivets began appearing in regular positions. The timber itself had decayed, but it left a dark impression in the sand. As Brown followed the line, the outline of an enormous ship emerged. Historical and archaeological education. Interpretations, provenance, and ownership may remain debated or change as evidence develops.
