S01E05 - The Banquet

This week, Mark and Allen examine an Episode rife with scotch, fact-based speeches, and political intrigue.  The gang attends a banquet honoring Leslie's mom as she receives the coveted Tellenson award, but when Leslie sees Queen of the Zoning Board Jeanine Restrepo, she is conflicted as to how she should proceed.  Will Leslie resort to blackmail?  What nickname did Ron invent for Marlene Griggs-Knope?  Does Andy have a formal kilt?  What the heck is "peacocking"?  This and many other riveting questions will be answered!  So come join us.  After all, it's fun to pretend to be zoning board members.  (Don't make us hold your nose.)  Our sponsor streak continues this week with Salvatore's Barber Shop and Scully's Bar and Grill.
