Note sull'episodio
In Episode 47 of LIVE! With Dr. Andre Jerry, Dr. Jerry sits down with author and near-death experiencer L.J. Martin to explore the extraordinary story behind his memoir, The Second Time Around: A Memoir of a Life, a Death and a Second Chance.
After years of pushing through declining health and ignoring his body's warnings, Martin experienced a medical crisis that changed the course of his life. He shares what he remembers from his near-death experience, what he believes he encountered beyond the physical world, and why he now views his journey as two distinct chapters: his first life before the experience and the second life that followed.
Their candid conversation explores mortality, spirituality, love, purpose, meditation, and how coming face-to-face with death transformed the way Martin approaches being alive.
But this episode isn't only about what may happen when we die. It's also for anyone working themselves into the ground, ignoring their health, or refusing to listen when their body is telling them to slow down.
You shouldn't have to nearly lose your life before deciding to truly live it.
