Ep. 24 : Eat Pray Love

Episode 24 is brining us all around the world. Join Hallee and Jamie as they dive into a classic memoir that they've been excited to read for a while now. This week, the girls discuss Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Come along with us as we travel to Italy to eat alllllll the goodies, India for some deep reflection and mediation, and Indonesia to hang with cute little medicine men and meet some steamy Brazilian eye candy. Truly, we wish we actually were traveling these places, but at least we can all live vicariously through our girl Liz. Come along with us as we chat about her adventures to these magical places. That's kind of the same thing right???

Ep. 23 : The Unhoneymooners

Episode 23 is back with summer ~vibes~. This week, Hallee and Jamie dive into the classic trope of enemies to lovers, but with this book's creative twist. They head to Hawaii for all the twin-sneaking, seafood buffet poisoning fun. That's right - this week, the girls cover The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. This episode is on themeeee, because Jamie is a maniac. We are covering The Unhoneymooners in honor of Jamie just returning from HER honeymoon. Slightly ironic since this book is the UNhoneymooners, but we tried, okay? Dive right into the crystal clear blue waters with us, as we watch Olive and Ethan fight their burning attraction for one another on a romantic honeymoon vacation that isn't theirs! Yes, you heard that right... Tune in because this book gives as much fire and drama as those Hawaiian volcanos. Owww owwww!!!

Ep. 22 : The Four Agreements

Episode 22 is going to be mellowwwww because you all deserve it. For this book, Hallee and Jamie have a philosophical self-help chit-chat that sparks some deep conversations. This week, they cover a self-help fan favorite, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. This episode is a well deserved break for everyone. Honestly, we needed Jesus after the last three episodes, but since we're not religious, we settled for a little hippie self-help book. This week we really enjoyed ourselves talking about some principles that we can all use to adopt in our daily lives. We're trying to be good people out here everyone! Hopefully you all enjoy this little break from the typical mayhem of our last few episodes, and share our spark for intellectual conversation.

Ep. 21 : Haunting Adeline

Episode 21 is quite the doozy friends. Hallee and Jamie ventured into new territories by covering this highly recommended Booktok dark romance. This was a book that Hallee and Jamie have seen all over the internet, and they decided to give it a go. Maybe you've guessed it! This episode will cover the highly discussed Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton. This episode is a little different for us friends. We are all about the edgy and racy, but we never could've anticipated some of the content in this book! We want to start off this description by putting a trigger warning. There will dark concepts discussed in this episode, as well as content that may be troubling to some listeners. If this is not your cup of tea, please feel free to skip this episode. But if you are up for it, tune in to hear our VERY opinionated thoughts on this book. As well as our reactions to what the fuck we were reading. Jesus himself couldn't have prepared us for this shit.

Ep. 20 : Ugly Love

Holy shit, we made it to EPISODE 20!! How did we get here!?!?! Hallee and Jamie are continuing their solo book journey by covering a fan favorite author, Colleen Hoover. This was a book that was also voted for by our lovely listeners. And so without further ado... this episode will cover Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. Our listeners went from a sick little thriller, to a sick little love story. You guys just love pain... jeez. We speculate that most of you probably voted for this just to torture Hallee by making her read a CoHo book. Which Jamie greatly appreciates and loves you for. Join us as we cover this epic love story, and have our perhaps most heated discussion up to date. Our personalities reallyyyyy shine through in this episode. In fact, we could not have more opposite opinions regarding this novel. It's an episode you WON'T want to miss.

Ep. 19 : The Housemaid

LETS GO EPISODE 19!! Hallee and Jamie are moving on to new and exciting things!!! We leave the world of SJM behind, as promised. This riveting thriller was a book voted for by our listeners. It took a while to get here, but it is finally here!!! This episode will cover The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. New content, new content, new content! And it's not by SJM! Yippieeeeeee! Our listeners said they wanted us to cover a thriller, and then out of the options we gave you, you picked this fucked up little tale. The choice was very appreciated friends, because wow - what a story! You guys are sick little freaks, huh? Join us as we cover this anxiety inducing book. Hear our thoughts, our reactions, and our strong opinions (as usual). We enjoyed covering this book so much, and we learned the crucial lesson of never leaving books out on the table ever again! We swear we won't.

Ep. 18 : ACOTAR & CC Closing Thoughts

Time for Episode 18 babies! Hallee and Jamie have their last chat on SJM (THANK GOD). This episode will cover closing thoughts on all things A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas. Did you guys think we were an SJM podcast? LOL… We don't blame you, because it sure as shit seemed like it! But never fear, we are moving on!!! As much as ACOTAR, CC, and SJM hold a special place in our hearts, it is time to say goodbye to the multiverse madness, and theories that make us pull our hair out. Join us for this final episode where we talk about our closing thoughts. Honestly, after 17 long freaking episodes, we needed to sum it all up. So come with us one last time before our new content and adventures together.
