Today begins the 2026 National Football League Draft!

Aside from it being one of my favorite sports days of the year (yes, I’m a huge dork), the Draft provides NFL organizations with a real opportunity to build. But, selecting the right talent requires not only a great deal of work, it mandates that decisionmakers eliminate outdated and anachronistic ways of thinking.
