Healthy things grow. God desires for us to grow up in Him – to become mature. God wants us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Pt. 3:18). Those who are mature are established in who they are in Christ. God wants us to grow in grace, allowing His Seed to germinate and reproduce the fruits of righteousness in our lives. Jesus is glorified when our lives bears fruit. In contrast one of the greatest Trojan horses in the church today is spiritual immaturity (Eph. 4:14).
