Luke: To the Least, the Last, & the Lost - Luke 6:39-45

It’s easy to spot what’s wrong in someone else while staying blind to what’s happening in our own heart. Jesus speaks directly to that tension in Luke 6:39-45. He warns that “a blind man” cannot lead another blind man, and He exposes how self-righteous judgment grows from something deeper than bad behavior. Our words, reactions, and criticism reveal the condition of our hearts. Jesus doesn’t call us to ignore sin. He calls us to see clearly through repentance and mercy. Psalm 139:23-24 invites God to search us, and Galatians 6:1 reminds believers to restore one another gently. Real change doesn’t come from pretending we’re better than others. It comes from Christ transforming us from the inside out.
