Gospel of John - John 15.1-11

We see throughout the Bible a consistent focus on God receiving glory.  From our human perspective this can feel arrogant and conceited.  After all, would any of us want to spend much time around another human being who is only interested in glorifying themselves? But it's different for God...His glory truly is the most valuable thing in all of the Universe, and He knows that when all of Creation, including each of us, are pursuing His glory then there is peace and prosperity as a result. In this portion of the Gospel of John, God gives us some insight into how we can best bring Him glory, and it's not by through self-righteous effort...it's by bearing fruit.  When we abide in the True Vine, we WILL produce good fruit.  God WILL get the glory, others WILL be blessed by  ...
