Note sull'episodio
Kathryn Kuhlman talks about "death to self" for the Christian from 1 Samuel 2:6-7. In the big picture Kathryn is still teaching on 1 Corinthians chapter 2. This talk works well with the episode immediately before this one. Many of the scriptures that Kathryn uses are quoted below from the New King James Version:
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Epesians 2:3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
1 Samuel 2:6 "The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.
1 Samuel 2:7 The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
1 Corinthians 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
1 Co 2:3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
This series has been published before. I will be adding more talks to the playlist as we go along. Here is the link to the current playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSMOPSA4R5IBYkc_Lpvc-kTxZXqv0SSoq&si=0iOVhRN0eU3VPQqY
This show has helped me to become more like Jesus and I am sure it can do the same for you. The podcast never has any AI and rarely has music or commentary. I give a short introduction sometimes but Kathryn's talks are unchanged. Take care and God bless.
