Note sull'episodio
On this episode of the Jewish Disability Services - Together, We Make An Impact Podcast we are discussing the newly signed legislation in the state of New Jersey that expands a crucial program called WorkAbility. We spoke with parent and disability advocate, Nantanee Koppstein, about NJ Workability, which offers people with disabilities who are working, and whose income would otherwise make them ineligible for Medicaid, the opportunity to receive full Medicaid coverage. For more information on this recently passed legislation, you can speak with one of the state's highly trained Information and Referral Specialists at 1-888-285-3036. They can review your potential for eligibility, answer any questions you may have, and provide guidance on whether or not NJ WorkAbility can work for you. Additionally, we spoke with Karen Marks, Manager of Supported Employment at Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service, an agency of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. If you have questions for Karen related to supported employment opportunities, you can reach her directly at 856-424-1333 or kmarks@jfedsnj.org - or visit their website at https://jfcssnj.org
