Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) is a condition where the brain has difficulty processing and interpreting auditory information, despite normal hearing ability. This means that people with CAPD might struggle to understand and make sense of sounds, especially in complex listening environments.

Dr. Megan Locke, Au.D., CCC/A, is an audiologist and executive director of Able Kids Foundation (Ft. Collins, CO), which provides CAPD evaluations to clients from all over the world.
