There are brilliant artists all over the place making incredible music in genres we never hear on the radio or have recommended to us on our streaming apps. That is why we sat down this week with Forest Fire, a New York City based beatboxing duo who won BOTH the United States and North American Beatbox Championships.

They walked us through how a beatbox competition works and all the different categories beatboxers can compete in. We talked about how they came together to form this duo, their process of building beats, all the different techniques they use, and they were even kind enough to give a crash course at the end!
