Derek Jacks :: Of Weeds and Wheat :: Matthew 13 :: July 19, 2026

Welcome to the Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sermon Podcast. Thank you for joining us as we gather around God's Word.

Today's message is titled "Of Weeds and Wheat," from Matthew 13:24–30 and 36–43. In this parable, Jesus reminds us that good and evil often grow side by side in this world. Rather than calling us to fear or frustration, He calls us to faithfulness, patience, and hope, trusting that He is both the righteous Judge and the faithful Lord of the harvest.

As you listen today, may the Holy Spirit strengthen your faith, deepen your trust in Christ, and encourage you to live as His people while looking forward to the day when His kingdom is revealed in all its fullness.

Now, here's today's message: "Of Weeds and Wheat."
