Lake Norman Catholic Guys - Season 3 Episode 13 - The Loretto Chapel Staircase Mystery

Built in the late 1800s, the Loretto Chapel was completed without a staircase to its choir loft, leaving the Sister of Loretto in a state of uncertainty. Legend has it that after praying a novena to St. Joseph, a mysterious carpenter appeared, constructed a perfectly spiraled staircase with no visible means of support, and disappeared without payment or thanks. To this day, the identity of the builder and the physics-defying structure remain a subject of wonder and debate.

Join us as we discuss the historical background, architectural uniqueness, and spiritual significance of the staircase - and what it can teach us about faith, prayer, and the mysteries that still grace our Church
