Pastor Shane's Weekly Sermon Broadcast
Sunday, July 12, 2026
Series: This Is Us! is a four-week sermon series designed to define who the church is, what God has called us to be, and how we are to live as followers of Jesus Christ. In a world where churches are often shaped by culture, preferences, and traditions, Scripture reminds us that Christ has already defined His Church. Through these four messages, we'll discover that we are a people who passionately worship God, wholeheartedly follow Christ, faithfully equip one another, and courageously carry His mission into the world. This series is more than learning what the church does—it is rediscovering who God says we are.
Message: Before the church can accomplish God's mission, it must first understand God's heart. Jesus declared that the Father is actively seeking worshipers—not spectators, consumers, or religious performers, but people whose hearts are fully devoted to Him. True worship extends far beyond singing songs on Sunday; it is a lifestyle surrendered to Christ in every area of life. This message challenges believers to examine whether their worship is genuine, Spirit-led, and rooted in biblical truth, reminding us that everything the church does begins with authentic worship.
