Eva and Cindy discuss episodes 7 and 8 of Madam Sousou. In episode 5 Madam Sousou is interviewed by "reporters" for an upper class publication. In episode 6 George the barber asks for Katina's hand.
Cindy and Eva discuss episodes 3 and 4 of Madam Sousou as she, her husband and her maid prepare to receive guests from the neighborhood to the Thexiosi (reception). Unfortunately, the reception does not go as planned!
In this episode Eva and Cindy explain how Madam Sousou behaves like an aristocrat despite living in a very modest neighborhood. Her loving, practical husband and unimpressed neighbors highlight this gap. The first two episodes establish Madam Sousou as a compelling character who really believes in the persona she has created.
Eva and Cindy discuss episodes 5 and 6, where it seems that Madam Sousou is in control, on top, and getting everything she ever wanted.
In episodes 13 and 14, Madam Sousou learns she has inherited a fortune from her brother. She asks the devastated Panagioti for a divorce so that she can marry the shady Katakouzinos.
