In this episode I talk to the Director Ryan Mackfall about his career as a filmmaker, about the impact of Covid and its various lockdowns on his practice and his life. His philosophy as a filmmaker and a bunch of other stuff along the way, including Joseph Campbell, the special voices we use as directors, folk horror, and the art of “tactical bombings”.
