Today we chat with Laura who shares her stories of her three beautiful babes. Laura had three vaginal births in hospital with one requiring a successful ECV prior due to breech presentation. Today we speak to Krystina who has two babes. Her first labor she goes through the bliss of a successful unmedicated vaginal labor with her midwives. Going on to talk about her second child, she encountered some complications while pregnant which ended in a cesarean. Krystina speaks about her trauma of having a birth not going to plan as well as postpartum breastfeeding and trauma. Krystina is a certified perinatal mental health therapist. Episode 15 we chat with one of my closest friends, Alli. Alli and her husband have two daughters. One birth was induced due to pre-eclampsia with the second being an overdue precipitous birth during the Christmas storm of 2021. Alli chats about her struggle with [extreme] oversupply during her first child and how that impacted her journeys for both children, along with anxiety revolving postpartum and covid. Kasey chats about her switch to a more rural small hospital setting with a midwife group after experiencing being at a bigger hospital. We chat about her two births and her desire to have an unmedicated water birth along with her struggles of miscarriage and anxiety revolving miscarriage.
