The party journeys north to meet with the wizard Joris, after haggling over some spell books he provides them with a quest involving an ancient temple.
The party meets up with Jeeves once more, who has found two adventurers interested in joining up with Malakai and Van, the two accept with one condition, they must first prove themselves by helping to find Malakai’s father.
The party has no choice, but to prepare for the assault as the goblins catch up with them.
The Baroness tasks the party with a diplomatic mission that takes them all the way to Newfort to meet Count Ironhyde.
After an eventful audience with the Count, the party conclude their dealings in Newfort and head home toward Shirebrook, investigating an abandoned village along the way, though once they arrive home a shocking turn of events awaits them.
The party’s investigation of the assassination leads them from one thing to another, until they finally decide they have no other choice, but to seek the help of Georg the mage of Misty Rapids, more sinisterly known as “The Wraith of the Teatherwilds”.
The party travels all over, from one town to another, piecing together clues regarding this recent string of attempted assassinations and other strange happenings.
The party further investigates the mysterious disappearances near the Shadow Mountains.
The party awakes early in the morning, a local knight has a good lead on where they might look for the assassin they have been after, and so towards the swamp they head.
The party delves into the Malkis cultist lair, clearing it as they go.
