How often we approach the Scriptures with a desire to hear in a clear and direct manner what we are to know. Here we are told that Jesus spoke plainly in order for there to be no mistake. Even so, He knows who we are and what draws us away, so He even gives us direction to return once again to what matters. Our scripture today can be found in Mark 8:27-38
