Grief can feel incredibly isolating, but when we allow ourselves to be honest about our pain—and someone meets us there with compassion—there can be tremendous comfort in simply knowing we are not alone.
This episode is also a reminder that it’s okay not to be okay. Healing doesn’t happen on a schedule, and sometimes we need to give ourselves—and the people we love—the grace to step back and come back when the time is right.
