Jesus has called every believer to be a disciple who makes disciples. It's not optional. But many believers do not take up this command from Jesus and, for many of them, it's simply because they do not know how to start. In this episode, Brian and Jonathan talk through the what, why, and how of discipleship. They provide very practical help from their own disciple-making to help you move from disobedience to faithful and fruitful obedience.
In a second episode about the end times, how do we understand certain popular topics such as a the rapture, the antichrist, the mark of the beast? We open the Scriptures to get an understanding of these often misunderstood topics. We encourage you to open your Scripture with Brian and Jonathan to read along at what the text provides as answers to these often-asked questions. What we find might surprise you. One of the biggest questions on everyone's mind is: are we in the last days? If so, what does that even mean? In this episode, Pastors Brian and Jonathan dive into the book of Revelation, specifically, how should we read and interpret this book that is full of symbols? Because. let's be honest, there's quite a bit going on within its chapters! So we want to demystify the letter and help provide a framework for how to begin to study and apply the overall message of Revelation.
Christians live in an interesting situation: we have dual citizenship. We are citizens of heaven through faith in Jesus Christ. He is our King and Lord. Yet, we also live as citizens within an earthly kingdom. How should we manage and live within that dichotomy as citizens of each? In this episode, we discuss how we can be faithful to God and a good citizen of our country.
The world is broken, that much is for sure. It is easy to think that we are just anticipating being taken away from it all. However, is that what our hope truly is? In this first episode, Pastors Brian and Jonathan look at what Scripture says does await the believer. Let's discuss what is our hope and how we should live while we wait for it.
