Note sull'episodio
What happens when Bible study stops being something we discuss—and starts requiring something from us?
For eleven cups, Pot 3 has asked what Scripture says about Christ and His Church.
In this final main episode, the question turns personal:
What does this require of me?
In Pot 3, Cup 12 of Grace in the Grind, Cody Hudson brings the season together around 1 Corinthians 15:58 and the call to steady, ordinary faithfulness until Christ returns.
Paul does not tell Christians to be faithful because everything will work.
He points to the resurrection.
Christ is alive.
Death will not win.
And because Christ has risen, labor done faithfully in Him is never wasted.
We’ll talk about:
• Why Bible study must eventually become obedience • What 1 Corinthians 15:58 means by “not in vain” • Why faithfulness is not measured by visible results • How ordinary discipleship matters even when progress feels slow • Why imperfect churches are still being sanctified by Christ • How to pursue reform without despising Christ’s people • Why we cannot wait for everyone else to become faithful first • What it means to belong, serve, be known, carry burdens, and make disciples • How the resurrection gives Christians endurance • The question every believer has to answer: What obedience is required of me now?
It is easy to talk about what pastors should do.
What churches should change.
What Christian community should look like.
But eventually “the Church” stops being an organization we evaluate from a distance.
It is us.
So maybe the next step is joining.
Serving.
Reconciling.
Discipling someone.
Opening your home.
Sharing the gospel.
Allowing yourself to be known.
The answer will not look identical for everyone.
But when Scripture makes the next faithful step clear, obedience should follow clarity.
The hope of the Church is not that we finally get everything right.
Our hope is Christ.
So until the Chief Shepherd appears:
Be steadfast.
Be immovable.
Love Christ.
Love His Church.
And be faithful.
