Church growth is a good thing. Acts repeatedly celebrates people coming to Christ and being added to the Church. But growth can expose weaknesses in how people are known, cared for, discipled, and protected.

A church may know attendance, familiar faces, giving, and who serves where while still missing that someone’s marriage is collapsing, faith is weakening, grief is isolating them, or sin is taking root.
