What happens when an ordinary person encounters an extraordinary God?

In this powerful message, Josh Lane takes us into the story of Gideon in Judges 6, where the angel of the Lord finds Gideon hiding and calls him something he never saw himself as: a “mighty warrior.”

Gideon was ordinary, insecure, and unsure of his ability—but God was anything but ordinary. Because God is omniscient, omnipotent, and always present, He sees what we cannot see and empowers us to step into what He has called us to do.

Your weakness doesn’t disqualify you. When an ordinary person says yes to an extraordinary God, He can do extraordinary things through them.

You may feel ordinary, but you serve an extraordinary God.
