The Big Hunt Guys have a lively discussion about Utah’s recently released mule deer proposal, which has sparked heated debate between supporters and opponents of the possible management changes. The changes to some general mule deer units in the southern region include shortened season dates, four-point or better antler restrictions, and making some units restricted weapons only, meaning hunters could only use recurve/longbows, flintlock/percussion cap muzzleloaders, and rifles with open sights only. Tune in to find out what this could mean for the future of Utah general season mule deer management and how to get involved in the process to submit your own feedback!
