The NFL is WILD! Amari Cooper gets traded to the Bills and Davante Adams reunites with his former Packers QB, Aaron Rodgers, in NY. We will talk about the unfortunate injury for Aiden Hutchinson and what this means for his season this year. Our cocktail/mocktail of the week is a roaring winner and we will reveal which defensive player won the pregame fit check in Rate the Fit. We have some upgrades to the show this week, so buckle up for a fun preview to Week 7! Will we no longer have an undefeated team after this weekend? Connect with us on IG @GirlfriendsandFootball
It's hard to believe that we are already 1/4 of the way through the NFL season already but it's a great time to check the stats and see who's leading the pack in passing, rushing, tackles, sacks receiving and interceptions. We will review the upcoming games for Week 5, see who won Rate the Fit QB edition, share the new cocktail/mocktail recipe and OF COURSE talk about injuries. This week we will continue the discussion on CMC's Achilles tendonitis, talk about Rashee Rice's ACL tear and a terrifying injury to Tyler Badie's back. Well also talk about a player who had the perfect game, but didn't get the game ball and the player who wants out of Las Vegas!!!!! Listen in as your girlfriends Dezi and Beth get real on their thoughts for this week!
FINALLY, Dezi ties Beth in the picks of the week! We got a new winner for #ratethefit and we discuss the chaos that is the NFL week 3! Bills are 0-3, Niners are 1-2 BUT we have some surprising stars like Sam Darnold and Justin Fields. We have questions too like, how are the Packers winning without Jordan Love and how did the Panthers beat the Raiders? You are gonna love our new #cocktail/mocktail of the week. Oh, and there are a plethora of injuries to discuss - CMC is seeking PRP treatment, Javon Hargrave tore a triceps tendon and what's the deal with Green Bay's legendary quarterback, Brett Favre, getting diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and is there an association with concussions? Step into our crazy hour chat with the your girlfriends - Dezi and Beth!
We have a guest! Cheri, our long-lost sister from another mister, joins us to chat about all the excitement around the Tampa Bay Bucs and Baker fever! Dezi makes her formal apology to Beth and we share a message from Lil Wayne. This week we feature a very appropriately named Cocktail/Mocktail of the week, but can you guess who the drink is named after? For our Rate the Drip segment, it's been our closest pick yet.... could it be a long snapper??? Check in with your favorite girlfriends as we laugh, holler and also review some anatomy and physiology behind the injury to David Bell - the wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns.... and of course, we share our thoughts and prayers to the QB of the Miami Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa, for another horrific concussion.
Wow! What an incredible week 1... full of drama, injuries and amazing games. This is what we live for and Dezi and Beth are here to break it all down!
