Thriving in the Midst of Weeds- Matthew 13:24-30
Main Idea: Since good and evil will coexist until the end, we must patiently persevere until the end. Main Question: In what ways do Christians need patience today? Wherever Jesus sows good, expect Satan to sow evil right in its midst. When we rush to condemn, we risk tearing down the kingdom of God. The promise of final judgment is a word of comfort to the righteous and a word of warning to the rebellious.
How to Grow in the Faith- Matthew 13: 1-23
Main Question: Why do some people grow and others don’t? Main Idea: In order to grow in the faith, we don’t need fresh seed; we need fertile soil. You can’t blame the sower for your lack of growth if you never take time to prepare the soil of your heart. You can’t blame trials for uprooting your faith if you never took the time to deepen your faith. Don’t be surprised by a lack of harvest if you never invested any time or effort in nurturing your faith.
A Filled House and a Forever Family- Matthew 12: 43-50
Main Idea: God’s people put God first. Main Question: What does it look like to put God first in our lives today? Don’t just clean your house; fill your house with the things of God. Don’t just take care of your house; prioritize God’s family in your life.
