Jud Lake (Th.D., D.Min.) is professor of Preaching and Adventist Studies in the School of Religion at Southern Adventist University where he as taught for twenty-six years. He has published numerous articles and academic papers and has authored Ellen White Under Fire (2010); A Nation in God's Hands: Ellen White and the Civil War (2017); and coauthored The Ellen White Pocket Dictionary (2018). He is a passionate advocate of biblical preaching, Ellen White's prophetic ministry, and Adventism's worldview. He and his wife, Elisa, live in Ooltewah, Tennessee and enjoy their four adult children.
