The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 16 - Treasure of Hazzard

This week we’re discussing treasure hunting, the civil war, gator wrestling, metal detectors, boats…. and twins! Did Jed find a magic lamp? No friends, all this and more is in the latest episode of the Dukes of Hazzard. Laura (aka Mary Kaye) is an academic who’s on the hunt for a civil war relic. Then the bad guys want it, and then Boss wants it, and then there’s car chases, and boat chases, and gator wrestling, and schemes. Fun Boys fans, we did our best on this one, and we sure liked it, but don’t just take our word for it. You’ve got to watch this episode! It’s the real “Treasure of Hazzard.”

The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 15 - Follow That Still

An old moonshiner can’t give up the life of crime, even with the ATF constantly busting him. Luckily, Boss’s own crime of the week involves something similar to an army tank, which our moonshiner quickly steals for a mobile shine operation. The Dukes can’t pass on a crime spree opportunity of their own, so they’re quickly involved, and pretty soon we’ve got chaos all over north central Georgia. This felt like a weird episode, paired with a wild conversation betwixt the Fun Boys. Spoiler alert, Josh met Tom. But no time for that now, we’ve got to Follow That Still! The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 14 - The Runaway

This episode could have more appropriately been called “oil tycoon hires goons to kidnap daughter and make her go on a sweet cruise, but the Dukes get mixed up in things, and we’re not sure anyone even got to go on the cruise.” But the daughter, Susie, is in love with a farm boy she met at college. Daddy thinks it’s a bad match, but the Dukes teach everyone that true love comes from the heart… and the country. The boys also drive Daisy’s car over a cliff. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 13 - Duke of Duke

It’s a classic tale, the guy from Manimal comes to town pretending to be a Duke, and chaos ensues. Gaylord Duke shows up with the deed to his family’s land. But it’s way behind on taxes and Boss has plans to sell it to a supermarket chain. To complicate things further, Daisy falls hard for the guy (yes, her cousin), and it takes a little too long for the gang to figure out he’s a fraud. Don’t worry though, even the Bat Cave and a Windsor knot can’t contain the real Dukes. The Fun Boys had a difference of opinion on this one, but we had fun talking about it. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 12 - Arrest Jesse Duke

You just know we’re in for a bumpy ride when a VW Beetle with horns on the hood is approaching Hazzard. This week Rosco is on hiatus, so Boss calls in Hughie Hogg to help maintain chaos and disorder in Hazzard. But the bigger story this week is that there are strippers in town, and they’re stealing auto parts and quickly reselling them to an unsuspecting Cooter. It takes the crew a moment to figure out what’s going on, but when they do, it’s all hands on deck to take them down. Except Jesse. He gets locked up right away. There’s Jeeps everywhere folks, and one shouldn’t even be there yet! Our ratings were all over the place, so don’t take our word for it. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 11 - People's Choice

Well friends, if you’re looking for a clean election, Hazzard County might not be the place for you. TC Rogers has come back to Hazzard, looking for revenge for her father. Boss cheated him out of an election 15 years ago, and she’s mad as hell. Boss tried every dirty trick in the book to win, but the Dukes took the same questionable path, and this was just a real gross election, folks. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 10 - Granny Annie

Move over, Swamp Molly, there’s a new old lady criminal in town. And this one uses her art skills to make counterfeit plates. Granny Annie pays the boys in counterfeit money, and it’s not long before Boss hears about it. Things quickly go south as Boss decides to sell the plates to a neighboring heavy. The deal goes sideways and Boss’s life is on the line! Rosco melts our hearts again, and it’s the Dukes to the rescue. This one will put a twinkle in your eye, gang, so gather round. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 9 - Witness for the Persecution

The General picked a bad week to have the vapors. Boss is supposed to testify in a federal case, which he thinks will land him in the governor’s mansion. But first he’s got to survive the threat of hit men to prevent him from testifying. The feds think the safest place for him to hide out is at the Duke farm. The boys think he should be on the road. And that’s where we hit high gear for the rest of the episode. It’s a race for survival folks, and the Fun Boys are taking the wheel for Witness for the Persecution! The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 8 - Hazzard Connection

Gang, this episode bills itself as the boys getting wrapped up in the schemes of a crooked demo derby baron. This guy is running hot race car engines, and gets the boys to unknowingly deliver them. But that’s not the Fun Boys takeaway. We saw this as a whole episode of Daisy saving the day. Credit where credit is due! Circle up and grab hands. The Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 Episode 7 - Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough

It’s not just a clever name, friends. This week, the boys encounter Cale as they’re running from Rosco. Turns out he’s testing a new super charger for his race car, and he’s got to hide out because the pesky Jethro brothers want to steal it. Once Boss hears about all this, of course he sees dollar signs and wants a piece of the action. The only way out of this one is a game of three card Monty, General Lee style!
