The BIG Picture - Episode 4 - Moses

Join us as we dive into a series that will illuminate how the library of books that is called Bible, written by many authors and spans a tradtion over thousands of years, weaves together into a Big Picture - a unified story that points to Jesus. We'll look at key individuals in the Old Testament; understand what God is doing in the moment - and then tracing it to fulfilment in Jesus. In today's episode, Tim looks at Moses from the perspective of the book of Hebrews - and we see a man that knew where he was going, because he'd seen the unseen Jesus first.

Stagione 1

Small Group Sunday

Every year around the beginning of September, we relaunch our small groups and take time to remind ourselves that we are a church made up of small groups. Small groups are essential to growth and to show that we are part of God's family - receiving encouragement and exhorting each other to go deeper with Jesus. In this episode, Ben teaches from Hebrews 10 where the author encourages the readers to prioritise meeting together and unpacks how small groups work and the biblical basis for them.

Stepping into our next season

Glen talks about stepping into a new season at our New Ash Green location, teaching from 2 Timothy 4 about Paul's encouragement to serve both in season and out of season - and encouraging each other to find the place that God has for us in serving the church and His creation.

Using Spiritual Gifts Everyday - Practical Gifts

Some gifts just don't hit the headlines, do they? Gifts like prophecy, healings and miracles make the front pages; however it's easy to overlook gifts like administration, serving/helps, encouragement and giving etc. In this episode that concludes our summer series on using gifts everday, Glen teaches about these gifts and how they are necessary and valuable in the Kingdom - and how people who prefer to work "behind the scenes" are just as valued as those who have more profile.

Using Spiritual Gifts Everyday - Prophecy

We had a blast with Laura, Senior Pastor of Rayleigh Vineyard (also our Area Leader!) when she came and taught on prophecy, ending with a practical session where everyone got involved. This super practical talk demystifies what prophecy is and firmly equips every believer to know that they can hear from God and use prophecy as a powerful tool for releasing God's Kingdom in our communities - and for reaching individuals with God's love.

Using Spiritual Gifts Everyday - Hospitality

Ben kicks off our series on embedding spiritual gifts into our daily lives by looking at hospitality - a radically powerful gift that broke down social and spiritual barriers to the Good News of Jesus, both 2000 years ago and today. Listen out for his 3 step model for engaging with this gift!

Vineyard Values - Living the Kingdom

This week Glen unpacks how we in the Vineyard Movement view the Kingdom of God - which was the central message that Jesus taught on and demonstrated. We look at how expecting the future age of the Kingdom to break into the now gives us purpose and hope - and how ordinary followers of Jesus can do the things that Jesus and the early church did, in terms of seeing people healed, delivered and comforted in Jesus' Name.
