Fox bravely opens up about the realities of her life as a trafficking survivor, It was an honor to interview her for this podcast, and a true experience to listen to her story. Two of Flourished in Freedom's organizers, Lauren and Elliot, read through over 20 encouragement letters to survivors written by participants at Yes! Consent Fest. At Consent Fest, Flourished in Freedom provided an opportunity for volunteers to write uplifting letters of encouragement to trafficking survivors. This episode explores all the letters written with so much love, validation,and affirmation to survivors everywhere. This very special episode is a connecting point between survivors and allies as we dive into moments of shared support. Through Teapot's incredible interview, we learn about one version of a foster care trafficking ring, listen to the experiences and parallels between trafficking and religious cults, hear about Teapot's passion of disability justice, what it means to be in "survival mode," how Teapot found community through the homeless community, and so much more.
