A cold front stalled over South Florida today and squeezed out thunderstorms that dropped pea sized hail from Homestead to Miami Beach. Hail. In March. That front is losing steam now, sliding south and fading out. In the next 24 hours. Down in South Florida, you're still at 79 degrees with showers lingering through early evening. A quarter to half inch of rain where those storms rumbled through. Things quiet down by 10 P.M. and overnight lows settle near 71 degrees. Warm and muggy. Classic. Slide over to Tampa Bay and it's a completely different vibe. 80 degrees, sunny skies, not a storm in sight. Tonight eases to 61 degrees with a few clouds drifting in.
